In late 2024, Markus Röver established Sideline Wine GmbH as a family-run side business – and the name speaks for itself. The company’s mission: to unite organic winemaking with the conservation of the steep terraced vineyards at Cannstatter Zuckerle.
We cultivate the established grape varieties Lemberger (Blaufränkisch) and Chardonnay through traditional manual labor and organic farming methods.
Further vineyard areas are currently being converted to organic farming. #vineyardreloaded

The monument-protected terraced vineyards at Cannstatter Zuckerle rank among the most precious cultural landscapes of the Neckar valley. Their traditional dry-stone walls serve not only as the historic foundation of winemaking, but also provide ecological habitats for threatened flora and fauna.
